Refund & cancellation policy

This policy applies to paid employment consulting engagements with Tech Applications for administrative and office career support in Germany.

Eligibility

Refunds apply to prepaid consulting fees for sessions that were not delivered according to the confirmed booking, or that were cancelled within the timeframes below. Informational website content is free and not refundable.

Cancellation by you

  • Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the session for a full refund of prepaid fees or a free move to a new slot.
  • Cancel between 48 and 24 hours before the session for a 50% refund, or credit toward a later session of equal value within three months.
  • Cancel less than 24 hours before the session, or miss the appointment without notice (no-show), and the session fee is non-refundable.

Rescheduling

One complimentary reschedule is included if requested at least 48 hours ahead. Additional reschedules may be treated as new bookings if calendar constraints require a shorter preparation window.

Work already started

If you prepaid for a package that includes written document review and we have already begun annotated feedback, a partial refund may apply for unused session time only. Completed written feedback is non-refundable.

Deposits

Where a deposit secures a multi-session series, the deposit is applied to the final invoice. Deposits become non-refundable once the first session has taken place, except where we cancel the remaining sessions.

Cancellation by Tech Applications

If we must cancel and cannot offer a suitable alternative within 14 days, you receive a full refund of prepaid amounts for undelivered sessions.

Refund process and timing

Email info@tech-applications.digital with your booking reference, session date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

Non-refundable items

  • Completed one-to-one sessions
  • Delivered written application reviews
  • Third-party costs you incurred independently (travel, printing, notarisation)

Exceptions

Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected where applicable. Medical emergencies supported by documentation may be considered for goodwill credit even inside the 24-hour window.
